If you’re here because you are still functioning on the outside but something feels off underneath, you are in the right place.

A lot of the men I work with are still showing up. They are working, providing, parenting, problem-solving, and carrying responsibility. From the outside, they often look fine. But underneath, they feel shut down, on edge, burnt out, irritable, disconnected, or distant from the people they care about most. Sometimes they do not feel “depressed” in the way they expected. Sometimes it looks more like emotional numbness, short temper, exhaustion, going quiet in conflict, or feeling like they have disappeared inside their own life.

This is often the part men struggle to explain. They know something is wrong, but they do not always have language for it. They may feel guilty for struggling at all because, on paper, life is still moving. They may be used to carrying too much, pushing through, and adapting to everyone else while losing contact with themselves. Over time, that can show up as burnout, resentment, anxiety, shutdown, or relationship strain.

My work is grounded, relational, and practical. I help men make sense of the patterns beneath the problem — not just what they are feeling, but why they may be stuck in it and how those patterns show up in their body, emotions, and relationships. Therapy with me is not about pretending everything is fine or giving vague advice. It is about understanding what is happening clearly, building more steadiness, and finding a more honest way to relate to yourself and the people you love.

Before becoming a therapist, I knew what it was like to feel unseen and stuck in survival mode. That part of my life is one of the reasons this work matters so much to me. I became a therapist because I know how powerful it is to be truly seen by another person at the right time. That experience changed my life, and it continues to shape how I show up for others. My work is deeply influenced by the belief that healing happens in relationship, and that real change starts with presence, honesty, and understanding rather than performance or perfection.

I work especially well with high-functioning men dealing with emotional shutdown, burnout, irritability, anxiety, relationship disconnection, grief, and the pressure of carrying too much for too long. If you are looking for therapy that feels grounded, direct, emotionally honest, and relevant to real life, I would be glad to speak with you.
